With the gang back at school, Naomi is still furious with Annie for the prom night disaster and contemplates sending out a sexually explicit text message of Annie as payback. Silver is convinced that she and Dixon can mend their broken relationship, but Naomi and Adrianna convince her to give him some much-needed space. Dixon also turns against Annie for the recent events (being busted with most of the school for Annie calling the police on the post-prom party) and refuses to talk to her anymore thanks to Naomi's further ploy with a different text message. Liam returns to school and attempts to apologize to Naomi for what happened on prom night and denies sleeping with Annie, but he refuses to reveal who he was with. Meanwhile, Liam and Dixon join the school's surfing team in an effort to keep Liam’s stern stepfather from sending him off to military school. Adrianna helps Navid, now in charge of The Blaze News, to land an interview with Teddy, but she is shocked with Navid’s interviewing tactics. Elsewhere, Ryan continues to pursue the crafty and manipulative Jen, who continues to play hard-to-get.
